Can you return a leased car early? In general, yes, you can return a leased car early. You’ll be responsible for paying off the owed amount, including any penalty fees and other fees for ending your contract early. The good news is that you won’t have a monthly lease payment on the vehicle you just returned when returning a leased car early.
You can still upgrade to a newer model with another lease if you want. However, it’s imperative that fulfill your obligations on the previous lease first. Otherwise, getting a subsequent lease will be more difficult.
